Here are resources that you, as an affiliate marketer, will need to be successful online…
Please be aware that I may get paid a commission if you buy through some of the links on this page, but this does not affect the price you’ll pay. Yes, I’m an affiliate marketer, and I’m implementing exactly what I teach you in this website. 🙂
A Domain Name
You can’t have your own website without a domain name. And, contrary to what you may have heard elsewhere, you REALLY DO need your own website and domain name to be a successful (profitable) affiliate marketer.
…are probably the two most popular.
*I use both, and have never had any problems.
You need a web hosting account to host, manage, and connect your website to the world wide web. There are tons of web hosting companies to choose from but two of the most popular for performance and value are:
*I use HostGator. It has cPanel which makes it very easy for newbies to set-up and manage their website(s).
If you really want to make a success of affiliate marketing you must have, and continue to grow, an email list of subscribers that you can regularly promote different affiliate products to. Autoresponder services simplify and automate this bulk emailing process. It’s impossible to grow and manage your list without one.
There are many excellent autoresponders out there:
*I’ve only ever used GetResponse and am very happy with it.
Keyword Research Tools
Keyword research is a critical part of proving whether a niche will be profitable or not. Get this wrong, and you’ll almost certainly be doomed to failure. Keyword research tools are a vital component in this critical process.
These are definitely some of the best out there for beginners to affiliate marketing:
- Google Keyword Planner
- Long Tail Pro
- Keyword Tool
- Keyword Spy
*I use Long Tail Pro. It has a generous 7 day trial for just $1. For me, it’s a standout.
Article Spinners (not “must have” but a big time saver)
Manually rewriting articles is very time consuming. But special “article spinning” software programs are available to automate much of the process. Several are so good they can produce 100s, even 1000s, of perfectly readable articles from one original. Note: Do NOT use ‘spun’ content on your website. Your website should have the original article.
I’ve personally used a few spinners, but BY FAR the best is Spin Rewriter which I still use today. I can highly recommend it. Take a look here: Spin Rewriter
